WORK-BASED LEARNING

R.E.A.C.H.

Our mission is to provide young adults (16-24 years old) with a meaningful work-based learning opportunity experience, and exposure to the soft skills development needed to succeed in life.

R.E.A.C.H. is a self-selected program and competitive program for disconnected young adults who have a strong interest in gaining work experience and intend to pursue post-secondary or career pathways.

Professional work experience

Hourly pay ($16-$18/hr)

Clothing stipend to shop for work attire

Provide METRO cards for transportation to and from internship placement

An assigned mentor and professional development training

  • Young adults (16- 24 years old)

  • Interested in the following career pathways:

    • Medical Services

    • Digital Media/IT

    • Marketing, social media, software development, coding, etc.

    • Business Services (office administration)

    • Distribution Logistics, Skilled Crafts

      • Warehouse, trades, construction, etc.

  • Willing to commit to a 2-3 month-long internship program and professional development.
