Q: Is this program free?

A: Yes. 8 Million Stories is free for all students.

Q: What’s the age requirement?

A: 16 -24 years of age (Male or Female)

Q: What time do I come in to get information about 8 Million Stories?

A: Monday- Thursday (9:30am-2pm) / Friday (9:30am-12:00pm)

Q: Can I earn a high school diploma?

A: Yes. We provide students with an opportunity to obtain a High School Diploma.

Q: If I have passed some, but not all, of the required tests (GED), can I still participate in 8 Million Stories?

A: Yes. We will support you in completing your remaining test to earn your High School Equivalency (GED).

Q: What are the hours of operation at 8 Million Stories?

A: Students are required to attend 8 Million Stories Monday-Thursday (9:30am-2pm)/ Fridays (9:30am-12:00pm); lunch and snacks are provided for students.

Q: Is a uniform required?

A: All students are required to wear the 8 Million Stories “We Matter” t-shirt while inside of campus building.

Q: What if I am currently employed?

A: Students who are already employed can still enroll in 8 Million Stories.

Q: Is transportation provided?

A: All students receive a bus pass (metro card) to be used to and from school. Students are allowed to drive their own vehicles provided that they have a valid driver’s license.
